Methods

A distance computes different kinds of distances between components of a complex assembly.

Annotated views and 3D markers may be associated to a distance. They are represented on the Distance object by an aggregated AnnotatedViews collection and an aggregated Marked3Ds collection that allow to add, retrieve or remove AnnotatedView objects and Marker3D objects.

The different types of distances are:

Minimum distance
Distance along a diection (X, Y or Z)
Band analysis.

Using the Distance object, one can create, modify or remove a distance.

Distances are managed thru a Distances collection.
